I remade my necromancer 3 times before he even left pre searing. (Twice more afterwards.)
I'm very picky..

I remade my necromancer about a thousand times, trying to get one that I actually like, and I recently deleted my Mesmer, because I just didn't like her, I was pretty far with her, but my new one is just much better looking.
I'd love to recreate my Warrior, but he's my original character that I've had for two years now. It would be too much of a waste to lose all of that time.

That's my "problem" too. Which is why I didn't mind buying 3 extra char. slots.

I know I do. I remade my monk, ranger and warrior because I didn't like the face. They were all lvl 20. Still, I couldn't stop myself.
I'd like to know your opinions and your stories about remade characters.

Thank God!!! I thought i was the only one, ive restarted a few characters and thought i was being dumb... but it really bothered not having the look i desired etc... Although recently i was hacked and had to restart my characters although at that point i didnt' really want to and was happy... but oh well, fun to be a noob again, brings back good memories!

I don't usually... when I make a new character I'll remake until I actually like it, but that doesn't take too long usually. I've had a urge to delete my monk and my warrior (monk to change looks, warrior because mine's female and wanted a male one). They eventually passed. However, I'm at a point where I'm getting seemingly bored of this game, and I'm considering buying extra slots to work on chars again... because I don't want to delete my current characters.
The only exception is my PvP slot that I reroll every now and then x].

I remade my Necro and Ele tones of times.
Mostly when GW came out, I was just creating them for storage so was not putting much thought in their face or hair.
Once it was time to create a Necro, I made him and he is still around.
But I never deleted a character that I played a while with, I don't have the heart.
Oops I forgot, I deleted my Paragon after getting to Kodash Bazaar. Their play style did not fit me much.

I want to remake my monk every time I look at him. He's fat, bald, and has an annoying smirk on his face. He looks like a pedophile rather than any time of video game character. Especially when I see how some female monks look, the desire to delete him grows more and more. Unfortunately that desire is a fleeting one when I remind myself that he wears obsidian armor and to delete him would be a complete waste...

I've started plenty of characters only to delete them and then decide to make another of the same profession (usually because it seemed like a good idea at the time). However, I rarely delete level 20 characters since by that point I've unlocked a fair few skills, bought decent armor and generally set them up.
The times I have deleted characters to remake them, it was either because I didn't like the class and then had an urge to play it again later (assassin, paragon), the name was crappy and I had a flash of inspiration for a better one (necro, monk) or I wanted to start on a different campaign (monk, ranger, necro).

Under level 20 - I've deleted so many I couldn't begin to guess at the total number. I know I deleted all of the first 10-20 characters I made, as my oldest character is two months younger than my account.
Level 20's -- I've deleted 3 so far...
1) Elementalist after the first AoE scatter update (November '05) - suddenly ele's had basically no place in PvE, couldn't find groups, etc. I already had multiple accounts and other level 20's at that point, so I deleted the ele and just played other characters for a while.
2) Male monk. Ugly as sin, deleted after his first birthday. Too bad for me he was the only char on my main with the first Wintersday hats, and I deleted him just before the hat NPC was introduced.
3) Female paragon. The hair that looked "white" to match the armor/angelic theme turned out dishpan grey in-game, finally got sick of looking at it in my log-in screen and tired of using her as a mule, so she got the axe.
Next up will likely be my Dervish b/c she's a Survivor (1) and not getting any further (I used her as a test build guinea pig while I was lagging bad one day, that was a mistake).
Next will be my almost 2-year old warrior, if and when I decide to bring my LDoA warrior to post-searing to replace him.
But my favorite re-roll story: An old guildy had to delete a level 20 warrior that had multiple sets of 15k armor and customized perfect weapons back in Dec '05 -- he was a teenage kid, and his mom didn't like the character's name and made him delete it. Parental pwnage ftw lol.

Ouch!!
I've also deleted a bunch of low lvl characters because I dodn't like their looks.
The one that hurt the most for me was the Dervish whose name I spelled wrong. D'oh! I din't notice the spelling error until I sorted my characters alphabetically one day and he showed up in the wrong place. It sucked because he had 15k Sunspear Armor...dyed Black! I just couldn't stand looking at that name anymore. Oh well...it made me extra cautious with names and I like my new Dervish better. Monument Armor ftw!
